2023 Aubrey Shenk Invitational

The Gettysburg Invitational has been run for 34 years now, with 31 of those under the guidance of former assistant and head coach Aubrey Shenk. Coach Shenk’s illustrious career came to an end after 35 years of service to this college and the campus community. In honor of his accomplishments and efforts with the Gettysburg Cross Country Program, the Gettysburg Athletic Department has dedicated the meet in his name, forever making it the Aubrey Shenk Invitational.

10:00 AM - Men's Race
11:00 AM - Women's Race

Course: Gettysburg College’s home course is a gently rolling, relatively flat course run mostly on grass and dirt/gravel. There is one road crossing. Course Map

Course Viewing: The course will be open at 8:00 am on Saturday. The course will also be open from 3:30 -5:30 Friday afternoon, with advance notification, for those teams wanting to view it then.
Awards: T-shirts to the top 15 finishers.
Entries: Unlimited entries per team. Entry fee is $20.00 per athlete on the entry form (direct athletics) up to a maximum of 250.00 per team or 500.00 for men and women combined. Make checks payable to Gettysburg College. There are no refunds for athletes not participating on the day of the race.
